About
Creator of Tangible Histories
Katherine Chong is a junior in high school who founded Tangible Histories in August of 2023. She created the three original iterations of this project for a course at Rhode Island School of Design's pre-college program.
Katherine practices art as a medium of inception and persuasion: she works to spark the infectious growth of an idea in the hearts of her audience. Katherine decided to launch Tangible Histories partly because she wishes her work to be accessible and relevant beyond the white cube, in public places or in online domains where they can take on a life of their own.
